You need a diesel engine. After that, there are no conversions needed.

Straight vegetable oil does require conversions of the engine though.

No gasoline engine can take biodiesel.</description>

		<description>Remove the engine, transmission, engine management system and the entire fuel system and replace with the appropriate diesel engine, transmission, engine managment system and fuel system.

Or you could just jack up the radiator cap and drive a new car under it.</description>

		<description>At the risk of repeating what Thor just said you'd have to install a diesel engine. Financially you'd be better off trading  in your car on a diesel.</description>
