If we have to give up gasoline until we can develop some other energy source, we’ll just have to live in the 19th century for a while.
elect another Jimmy Carter - he’s the ONLY one who TRIED to start to get us off the oil addiction when the gas lines started in the late 70s, but Reagan eliminated everything he started when he took office.
It is free from oil dependence; Just not free from the crooks running this country.
There is no portable energy source anywhere are cheap as a gas engine. We need to drill for oil in the MANY places we know we have oil here in the USA. Wind and solar are pipe dreams, we need more nuclear power plants.
let’s see the libs are against wind can’t ruin their panoramic views and birds get killed in the blades, hydro is out might kill a snail or small fish, nuke well just forget that. so the libs have narrowed down the choice to solar maybe it depends on what the eco freaks say about it. So it is all up to the libs to decide what is the right energy source for the U S we are waiting.
America is rich in Coal and I don’t mean burn it like the trains. There are ways to transition the coal as well.
The reality is we will not be oil dependent for a LONG time. Not in this lifetime will you see the majority of the population switch to another energy source.
